Connecting to Wi-fi

Eduroam is the wireless network for students and staff to use across all campuses. Eduroam also gives you access to wireless networks at any other eduroam-enabled institution across the world.

Find out where else you can access eduroam on the eduroam website.

Connecting your Windows Device

  • Download and run the Microsoft Windows GetEduroam installer 
  • When prompted, select “Connect to eduroam”
  • Search for “University of Wales Trinity Saint David” in the search box and select
  • Click “Next” until you are prompted to enter your username and password
  • Login with your University email address and password
  • Click “Connect”

Connecting your Apple iPhone or iPad Device

  • Download the GetEduroam App from the Apple App Store
  • Open the app then search for and select “University of Wales Trinity Saint David”
  • When prompted, login with your University email address and password
  • If prompted that “geteduroam” wants to add a Wi-Fi Hotspot Network, select “Allow”
  • If prompted that “geteduroam” wants to join Wi-Fi Network eduroam, select “Join”
  • Click “Connect” 

Connecting your Apple MacBook Device

  • Download and run the Apple macOS installer on your MacBook
  • When prompted, enter your full UWTSD email address and password

Connecting your Android Device

  • Download and install the GetEduroam App from the Google Play Store
  • Open the app then search for and select “University of Wales Trinity Saint David”
  • Follow the on-screen instructions and when prompted, login with your University email address and password

Connecting your Chromebook

When you’re on campus, search for wireless networks on your device, select eduroam, and click connect.

If your device isn’t listed or you need to setup your device manually:

Guest Wireless

The UWTSD Guest wireless network is the primary wireless network for guests of UWTSD and visitors.

Who can use this service?

Guests of University of Wales Trinity Saint David and visitors.

How can I connect to UWTSD Guest?

No prior information is needed by IT in order to access this service. It provides guests access to the internet for a period of 24 hours.

To connect, please follow these instructions:

  1. On your device under wireless network select “UWTSD Guest” (there is no security key required).
  2. Once connected, click “Get Online”.
