Rooms are provided with a Pan-Tilt Zoom (PTZ) camera at the rear of the rooms and in some cases a second camera on the lectern itself. Microphones are also fitted to the ceilings to cover the in-room audio.
Our Hyflex-Light rooms are fitted with a webcam and boundary microphone. The boundary microphone provides far better audio coverage and quality.
Delivering a Hyflex session in our Hyflex-Light rooms is still possible with the main difference being that there is only one display and a webcam so the online participants will not be constantly visible to the in-class learners, nor vice-versa.
Our general rooms are equipped with a standard webcam which also acts as the microphone and provides basic functionality for Hyflex teaching and learning.
